I guess I'm the one to rain on this parade of happiness, but I didn't see anything in the OP about racing somebody. It is just about some douchebag getting pulled over, which is nice...but this section isn't about that. :I

North Carolina Highway Patrol had some 98+ Z28's there for awhile(lucky for me, I havent seen any in years.)
S.C. still does man. Look out for a burgundy one, lol! They also have S197s. I have a family member that just retired from down there. N.C. is mostly Chargers, but they're still a good bit quicker than the Vics.

I know this is a very inmature thing to say but why pull over if your clipped doing 120. Your already F*@ked. Why not put the pedal to the floor and go! Hit the first exit you come to and take him down some country road where you have a huge handling advantage. Motor trend did a story once on police cruizers and it took a Miata 58 seconds to loose a cruizer on a road that involved alot of turns and the cruizer lost sight of an Evo in 35 seconds.
My brother is a prime example of why you shouldnt run, lol. The boy never smoked, anything, drank, fought, nothing, pretty straight kid. Now? He's a convicted felon. He got busted, for the second time in 4 nights, street racing, and he split on the cop. 7 city boys total were involved, and he outran every one of them, radios too. What got'em? The dam dashcam. 3 hours after they called the chase off, they had zoomed in one cops camera, that was waiting at an exit, and got his license plate. He had dropped the car off, got his ol' lady to pick him up, and was back out cruising before they even knew who the hell he was.
Point is, I do/did go with your point of view on this, but being a felon sucks......
Edit: That sounds real "old manish" (no offense blue ) I was just saying I've seen the consequences for running, and IF you get caught, being a felon sucks......

I'd rather get a ticket or go to jail than risk killing myself or someone else... just plain stupid to run.
The old saying runs true: If you can't do the time, don't do the crime... :-)

S.C's got blue lights in anything with a motor and 2 wheels or more...
And yep, NCHP has fallen in love with the R/T's. I wonder why I've never seen any NCHP Marauders come to think of it....
