Default 02 Procharged GT vs C5 N20 Vette.

Just a quick little race last night. The Vette has heads/cams/100Shot running on Nittos. I wasn't really there to race, just to hangout so I had to run him on ****ty street tires. You can see at the end of third I put the brakes on, I was starting to lose it and wasn't about to crash for that race. I had a little more than a car on him until I started to spin and I think I would of actually pulled him, but hey still a Death. ****ty vid but you can pretty much make out what happened.

Nice kill! I didn't expect that. What kind of power do you put down?

I don't really know. I was putting down a little over 400 to the wheels before, now I'm running a little underpowered until I got the car tuned. It's running rich so I'm not hurting anything, just the place where I want to get tuned and dynoed was so booked I had to wait 2 weeks. So with the smaller pulley and throttle body waiting to be put on I am hoping for about 500 to the wheels.

If I did, I don't even think it would be close honestly. I outlaunched him with **** tires while he had DRs. If I put my MTs on I would of probably had 2 cars right from the start.

Even if you hadn't lost traction, I'm sure you were expecting him to come around you correct? A h/c/spray FRC is easily good for 125+mph traps.

I had 1 car by 2nd gear and 3rd I pulled a bit more on him, maybe 1/2 a car before I started spinning. But yes I was expecting him to gain ground in the higher MPH. It really wasn't the best street to be racing on, other than it being empty.

You can never have too much power, just not enough traction.

No it was actually towards the top of third before I even tried to shift into 4th. I just felt the car getting away from me for some reason. Could of easily been something on the road but I wasn't gonna stay in it to find out.

An H/C LS1 should be good for about 450 hp so with the 100 shot he easily be at 550 hp. Just wondering if he sprayed.
