True, its HIGHLY unlikely, although I wouldn't say its impossible. I was able to pull consistent 1.7x 60's with my 98 Z28 on some Falken 18" 285s, but I did have every suspension mod you could bolt or weld to a car. With some more weight distribution, a high 1.6 MAY have been possible, IDK.

But isn't this supposed to be a stock GT500? If so, there's absolutely no way in hell, no way. The weight distribution is the complete opposite of good on those cars, which just makes it that much more unbelievable.

The guy has UCA and LCA so I think it's possible... I've seen plenty of people cut 1.8's on All Season Pirellis with regular manual GT's.

Edmunds dyno'd it at 511 RWHP so if you account for a 15% loss through the drivetrain that would be just over 600 HP at the crank.

I honestly think those cars are a pulley swap, tune, DR, and driver mod away from running low 11s, maybe even high 10s in really good conditions.

Good observation but I'd guess the owner mistakenly wrote 18". He did make a point of saying

Stock Goodyear 18's !!!!!
If he was trying to mislead people into thinking his car was stock, I think he would have just written 19".

idk wether or not his time was correct or not. But, how many of us let the car sit for 2.5 hours before a run, that could have helped considerably.

I can't see ford under ratting the car by 60 hp.
