I was wondering how bad it would've gotten if we had of kept going to 130 or so, (I got a pretty good idea though). He was already beginning to creep ahead when we shut it down.

Given his hp advantage and his aero advantage, I would guess you're inkling is correct.
I don't know what the exact aero difference is, but going by the looks of both cars and the feel of both cars, I think there's a substantial difference. I had a 04 GTO that could cruise 160 mph without too much fuss. This S197 starts getting upset at 120 mph. The hood acts like its going to fly off, it bobs up and down some, etc. The GTO I had was actually pretty quiet at those speeds, just some wind noise.

The S197 specs? Near Impossible to find...GT500 is the closest I can get. They said it was slightly increased from the GT by the wider tires and minor changes so I would guess .37 for a Mustang GT.
GT500 - .38 x ?? frontal = ??
I can't believe I searched for over an hour and can't find this information. Why wouldn't Ford publish it? Anyone know the missing pieces here?
These cars can be a handful. My buddy has a cammed 2006 GTO with 425 rwhp, and we're dead even, with me spraying. It's sucks we need a power adder just to keep up with these things n/a.
Nice runs btw!
