3100lb's isent THAT hard. My convertible is down to 3250 with stock head's, full interior, and almost no weight reduction mod's other then dumb stuff like exhaust and a aluminum driveshaft.

trevor ran 12.1 @ 112 in a cam only 2v. had he fully gutted the car and put heads on it i think 11's would be easy.
i saw in, i think it was MM&FF where they took a saleen and installed stage 3 heads and cams and it made 400 something at the wheels and ran like 11.8? these little 4.6's amaze me more and more every day
