Default test and tune!

Nothing special. I beat an 06 Evo and 06 STI, reason being is that they flubbed their launch lol. But you know the saying, "chase is a race!". Funny thing is, I beat them by 3-4 cars but we ran nearly identical times. 13.7.. which is horrible for both cars, considering they should be 13.1 stock.

Beat an SRT-4 (stock/14.7), a few civics(14.6), an old chevy(14.1), an older beatle(14.7), 2 WRXs(13.6) and I think that's it.

A few stock LS1s/13.7s all day. '00 C6 vette/13.4@105. Stock 03 cobra/13.4@107, NEW skyline GTR/12.1@114. a 66 Mustang GT running 12.8@103 all motor. 08 Mustang GT/13.0@112. A handfull of scoobies and evos running 12.5s.

And a whipple charged GT w/cervini body kit/12.0@119!

Best of day was a 13.4 (bah, I ran that 10 times in a row last time)
Was busting my hump trying to get it down to 13.2, there was a HUGE pond of water drivers could not avoid after making our runs in order to get back into the lanes. No choice but to drive through, soaking our tires! Test and tune night.. no real prep, no one cares lol.

Decent night, nothing special.. especially considering that this is the first real time I was out there since the shorty header.. which did precisly dicko!

Money would have been better spent on drag radials and rims.

lol they were trying to tool me at the staging lights by not giving me enough time to stage, they's hop up and light them both up when I wasn't even ready. So I left right on the third light yellow, right as it lit, about to light up the big green- I would launch it lol. I guess they weren't ready and flubbed their launches.

That 66 GT had some nice tires and suspension.. it would hit 1.9s 60 ft. 12.8@103 effortlessly. DRs.

I went to the 1/8th mile track on Friday to test out my new 4.10’s. My best was a 8.72 errrrr last time I had a 8.67 with intake/tune offroad H. Did the gears make me do worst? NO , the track prep was so ****ty that I got MAD wheel hop/spin all night until I left. 100% Seriously speaking, I caught better in the street! I was launching about 2k rpms at the track (on the street I usually launch at 2) and I was spinning horribly. On the way home, I launched at 2k rpms on the street and I barely squeeked!! I was so confused. I didn’t understand how I can hook better on the street then at the strip!

Must be tough to launch those AWD cars.....pray to god they don't get a RWD one. Be a good smoke out.

'05 was the first year of the C6 Vette. So you seen a lousy LS1 C5, much like mine.

Greg Anderson has a shop about 1000ft from our local 1/8th mile that he uses to test at 24/7. He even paid to have to the whole track re paved. Needless to say, our TnT nights usually have LOTS of rubber laid down and some pretty decent prep.

There were a few that launched really well. Best of day was an evo running 12.0@115 I think it was.. really quick car. There was an 2010 WRX running 13.7@107mph..

Something is up with my car because I lost like 1mph consistently.. not a big deal, but when other GTs (manuals are trapping 107mph with just intake) it makes me worry some.

For some reason I couldn't hook for shat yesterday. I was running 13.4s ALLLLL day the other month and it was way hotter that day as well. Going back this Sunday...

PS

I may go ahead and work on the suspension some next season along with DRs/rims and a high stall TC (3200). I know if I could get it to hook, I have enough power to run 12.8s at the very least. The 4.10s need some serious grip... power braking them going WOT just ain't cutting it anymore with street tires!
