these wiki guys lol. what year did you wiki? ah, wiki'd myself. 3200 lbs I was close. That's like trying to race an LS2 vette in your truck. Or even in your 74' vette. Then we have the mid-engine and forged wheels, super expensive lightweight tires. Many variables and that is one bad ass car.
I would have loved to have gotten to see his car and my vette head to head. I haven't been to the track in this one(only autocross so far), but I would put the vette in the high 12/low 13 second range off of feel. The modded crate motor + 4 speed feels pretty stout. Not the fastest car i've owned but pretty quick.

I absolutely blew past one of these cars in my winter beater Sunfire a few years ago on I69 in Indiana one day last year. I was in about 6 inches of snow....lol

Ferrari never seemed to have problems making stupidly fast cars in the 80's look at the 288 GTO.
sure, good luck finding one on the road (especially the "Evoluzione" model), but damn were they fast. 400bhp and 366btq out of a 2.8L V8 (twin turbocharged and intercooled) and only weighed in at 2557lbs. 189mph stock. oh, and it's the predecessor to the F40.
