4 major events took place, so out of 8 hours, I managed to get 2 passes out of the Slowbra, and the G/F got 3 passes out of the GT.
There might be a couple of things wrong with her car. At WOT, really black smoke comes out of her exhaust pipes after each gear hits. She ran a best of 13.1 @ 104 with a 2.1 60ft on 17inch Toyo Drag Radials. That wasn't the only thing. First time at the track, and the DA was over 3200, in almost 80 degree weather, with almost 70% Humidity. So, we were not let down by that. IF, and I mean IF, I did a DA Calculation, she would have ran a 12.7ish @ 106. But, since her car is not part of the NHRA, and not a dragster, lol, I won't.
From what we can gather, her car is running dangerously rich for some odd reason. I am going to reload the tune, and check everything out, and try to get her car back to the track. With her power level, she should be trapping at least 115 in normal DA.
She was very happy to go, and had a blast.
Cobra ran a 12.44 @ 112 first pass, bogging off the line, and missing 4th gear. Not bad for my first run. Throughout the day, Byron Drag-way had to keep resetting and shutting the time clocks off, as they were not reading right, and not showing times.
So, my second pass, I ran a 12.7 @ 110 according to my slip. However, the Camaro I raced did not have his time on that slip, and the announcer announced a different time for my Cobra. In actuality the car ran a 12.56 @ 117 with a 2.00 60'.
I am somewhat impressed, as if the DA returns to normal IL DA, I should be running mid 11's with how I was driving the car.
Just thought I'd share what a blast we had, and how happy the G/F looked at the track.
-Chris

117mph is moving. Too bad you'd lose to a nearly stock 3v. You should reevaluate your situation.

ROFL!!!
Too bad indeed.
Even though Stock 3V's that day were running 15's.
Then like 2 other S/C 3V's were running bottom 13's trapping 110. LMMFAO

I wish I could afford another car. My wife loved riding with me when we went to the track earlier this year together.
Have you let her run your car yet?

Thats a nice MPH with the crappy DA. What is done to the gf's car?
Everyone knows blown 3Vs are slow.
Vortech V2, 11.39 PSI, 5R55S, Mid-pipe, Axle Back, and Tune. That's it.
God yes they are! Bolt on 3V's are where it's at! J/K

yeah, she should be doing 115 with ease on that setup.
That's what I thought. Turns out she is running extremely rich. No clue as to why though.
