BAHAHAHA Your really not telling the whole story with that post. It's kinda like me posting the video below and saying it's just a simple turbo swapped car. Obiviousally the video of the run you posted was made on the spray. And it was made on their stage 2 turbo kit which consist of an upgraded compressor on the turbo. Basically a bigger turbo just using the stock turbo housing. The realtune websight say their stage 2 kit makes 360HP. Do you really think your going to trap 128 with 360whp in a 3300 pound car???????

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.

Wow 9.39....thats insane for the SRT-4. Whats all done to it?

As for the caliber, very impressive too. I need to get a 4-cylinder to play with.

Everythings done to it. Built motor, Giant turbo, automatic transmission, etc. It's a Derrall Cox racing built car. They hold the 1/4 mile record for a SRT-4 7.90@188.

No need to get defensive BB, though I just though of that vid it's not the only prime example, truth is the C srt-4 comes with a bigger turbo than the N srt-4 and you can pull more power out of it on stock FI.

Yo, BB. I like that Neon vid an all, an Ima let you finish but the Cobalt has ran bottom 7's at over 200mph and have the fastest fwd record of all time ..OF ALL TIME. I was comparing it to a basic turbo swap not a drag car.

I've Always liked SRT-4's I looked at a black on in 04 and got my GT instead, I looked at a black 08 yesterday, very nice.

Who was talking about cobalts? When you start talking about records it's who has the most funding will usally hold the record. At that level it's not about the stock engine design anymore. The only stock componet will be the block. I understand what you were comparing the CSRT4 to. But a simple stage 3 SRT-4 has run in the 10s already with a 100 shot. The caliber in the video you posted was turbo swapped and sprayed. It didn't make that pass on just boost. Your first post was misleading. It was like look what a stock turbo housed Caliber can do. But you never mentioned the nitrous.

Yeah, I didn't mention nitrous because this is the mod list (of caliberforums)

Realtune Stage 2 package
ED turboback
ED FMIC
4 gallons of 110
2 gallons of C16
26.5psi holding 24psi
One step colder plugs
SBC stage 3 clutch

Also this is realtune's sig on the LX forums..

2008 CSRT4 [Currently the fastest and Quickest Caliber SRT-4 in the world]
11.62@128
No Nitrous
Realtune Stage 2!

So it is "look what a stock turbo housed Caliber can do"

I'm going to ask you one more time, then I'm giving up hope on you. Do you really believe a kit ( REALTUNE STAGE 2) making 360WHP will trap 128 in a 3300+ Pound car???????? I got the 360WHP number right of their sight also. I'm making more power in a 300 pound lighter car than that and trapping 10 MPH slower. But like I said I'm done before you try to bring a cobalt up again. Dont be gullable.

Does anyone else beside perfect believe a 360FWHP car can trap 128? Hell lets give the car more credit that that. Does anybody besides perfect believe a 400FWHP car can trap 128??? Vipers dont trap 128 and their sitting on 600HP. Pretty sure that more that 360 to the wheels. Are you trying to tell me real tune has found a way to defy the laws of physics?

Right off the realtune page....

November 1st, 2008 - Our Realtune CSRT-4 was just dynoed and retuned on full race gas and made 431.9HP and 533TQ thank to our Realtune Stage 2 Kit and Bolt on's! Check out the thread with all the information here! Realtune CSRT4 Dyno on Race Gas!

Check it out yourself..
http://www.caliberforums.com/forums/...ead.php?t=9235

Your going by 360whp on 22psi on 94 (also notes this: There are a few things holding the car back at this power level that we are working on!"... the run was with 26.5psi on race gas.

I didn't spend a lot of time but what I looked up the C Srt-4 weights in under 3200lbs.

If realtune told in their websight that you your ass was on top of your head would you start wiping you forhead after you took a sh!t? Another 2 pound of boost is not going to magically turn 360HP into 500HP. like I said I give up. Every single thing you read on the interweb is 100% true. You can outrun exotics by simply installing their turbo kit.
