KR's are advertised at what? 550?

So, 550x.85= 467ish

Vette @ 421....

Yea, I can DEFINITELY see a MUCH lighter aerodynamic Corvette pulling a rolling brick of the GT500 like that from a roll.

I love the whine of the blower in the second video though. Makes me smile.

Vettes numbers seem to be on the high side.....Now if it had headers then I can see those numbers a lil closer but not without headers.

It doesnt have headers. I was shocked by the numbers at first too, so i did a lot of research. Heres a link to many ls3 dynos off corvetteforum

Heres the actual Thread with all the Links -

When I click the links below gives me an error, So i suggest clicking on the links through the corvetteforum thread.

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-t...o-results.html 412hp on a Dyno Dynamics Dyno

With the NPP exhaust, good intake, no cats(not sure any gains here), + dyno tune, 30rwhp is reasonable

Yup, the Whine is priceless. Amazing how much weight and aerodynamics can factor in a race.

Yeah it doesn't really matter tho, all dynos can be made to read higher or lower. Hell I'm at 440 with H/C/Ported FAST. So the only real way to find out is to see what it runs in the 1/4 mile. Stock LS3s will usually baseline around 370ish so gaining 50+ rwhp seems kinda far fetched. But then again it doesn't really matter lol. Hey I will run my car with those 2 if they don't mind lol.

ditto.. it's like racing a paper aeroplane vs a crunched up paper ball.. even shooting it with a rubber band, it's still not as fast as the paper aeroplane lol..

I'd still rather have the KR.

(-;

.. just cuz.

The GT500's were designed to have a bunch of power and look cool....the Vette was designed to go fast...so it's not really a surprise. GT500's do have a certain amount of nostalgia that the new Vettes just simply don't have, but again, the Vette is a well thought out performance car designed with 1 goal in mind, win races.

Best trap 107.11mph, we'll see what the new intake/carb setup does.
