this weekend my buddy came home with his stage 3 srt4 and we had to go for a little run. he has the stage 3 kit with a big front mount, intake, exhaust and the turbo toys but he wasnt using the toys, ran on pump gas. i have a 100 shot with full bolt ons and 373 gears. dynoed 360/455 on the spray. so we are trying to figure out what gear we should start i from a roll (digg would b pointless, both on horrible street tires) and we decide on a 2nd gear @ about 20mph. we movin at 20, i beep 3 times and put bout 1 1/2 on him right away and hold it till almost the end of 4th. we line up again, 2nd gear roll, he beeps and i blow the tires off my car, went to grab 3rd and couldnt quite find it so by the time i got into 3rd he had about 2 cars on me and i kept it at 2 cars till the end of 4th. after we ran we talked bout it and he said the first run he was in 3rd not second and i told him what happined with me on the second run. i think if we went from a 3rd gear roll and didnt spin or miss gears then it would b a very close race.

yea he comes home every weekend so next weekend we will probly go again and ill try to get it on video. i was divin down a road by myself with no traffic so it wasnt loud and i sprayed it in 3rd then sprayed it in 4rd again on the other tune and the one tune was breakin up just a little bit when the nitrous tune pulled right through. bottle heater is workin great...i was at about 1000psi when i ran him

Nice race. I'd just sneak a gallon of race fuel in there and tell you the toys were turned off!Go from a 40 roll. That seams to be the SRT4 sweet spot. It shouldn't spin from that speed. I usally trap in the 111 to 113 range with the toys turned off. You guys should be a heck of a race from a 40 roll.

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.
20 mph is WAY too low of a roll for 2nd gear (definetly too long for 3rd lol) either way, it throws his powerband way off. 40-45 roll would be perfect, and you'd both hook.
