Default SRT-4 vs Mustang GT

Whats going on everyone. Well last night me and my buddy decided to take the gf's out to dinner and get a couple fun runs in on the way. Hes got a 04 SRT-4 with a CAI and downpipe with something uncapped. I got a 08 Gt with CAI and Brenspeed tune. We decided to do a 40 roll and a 60 roll. I honked it off on the 40 and pulled a quick one car lead he came back on me maybe to my door I hit 4th and pulled another car and quit at 115. I thought with it being as cold as it was he would be neck and neck. We then did the 60 which is pretty much a dead spot for my. I believe I was sittin at 3,100 in 3rd and like the top of second. So I chose 3rd he got out on me by a full car. Once I got to the top of 3rd I made it even. In the middle of 3rd though it seemed like he was gonna walk away like the first race he was gonna reel me in. Hit 4th and pulled about a half a car to 115. All in all it was a good fun night food was good and races were good. Even though I'm sure the 30 degree air was helping him more then me. Thanks for reading.

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.

Yep CAI/Tune..Blue beast you know what kinda #'s his car could be puttin down. According to him he ran a 13.6@106. I think thats a lie considering I ran a 13.02@105 on a hot day.

That's a believable time for him, and his trap speed shows that he runs good up top. You would likely beat him in a 1/4 mile race, but up top that turbo helps pull his car nicely.

I could believe the 13.6 part. The trap speed seams high for the mods. He'd have to up the boost to around 17PSI (MAXing out the stock turbo) to hit that kind of trap. Sorry bout the are you stock question. some times my reading comprehention isn't the greatest.

Hahaha its kewl man. I didn't believe his trap was really that high. He went on a different day then me but temps and stuff woulda been the same. Acarzt I have 3.55s. I made 280hp and 285tq on a mustang dyno in 88 degree weather. Whats stock boost, his gauge hits 15psi I know that from riding in it.

Comprehention huh... lol...

But as for the underlined part you're right on. That's a hell of a trap for such a lightly modded srt-4

I've actually got a slip of a buddy of mine who went 13.6 in his srt-4 with a few mods.. let me go hunting on my computer..
it wont upload..strange..

anyways, it was a 13.6@103 with a 2.27 60'
