I even think those cars are pretty good looking. Seen a young guy driving one today, crooked hat and all, and the car looked pretty good. Black with them thur blinging wheels. I'd pimp it....if someone gave me one.

Just talked to my buddy and he wants a rematch when he gets drag radials and some suspension done. He said it'll probably be spring. I'm totally down since i'll have a built rear end and a 125 shot by then. I'm hoping for low 12's.

Good kill, seems about right since he was wheel hopping. They do have bad wheel hop. Watch out for the 2008+ SS/TCs they can be real nasty as stated above.....

Would've been alot more favorable for him im sure. I don't race from a roll, just something i dont believe in. Plus i'd never give up my advantage of being decent off the line.
I always hear this from the slow cars, just sayin. You can "beat" a KB cobra if he is doing a burnout to the 1/8th. The roll proves who has the faster car. I would not take much pride in beating a superior car because he was having issues getting off the line, but i guess thats just me. Dont get me wrong, i love to do digs, but when its among fairly equal skill drivers. I dont see the fun in spanking a FWD car from a dig in a stalled auto, who comes out on top of that launch is a no brainer.
But i digress, i used to say the same thing in my old auto gt too, spinning was a non issue.

I'm just the oposite. I love the fact that with a set of slicks and superior driving skills I can give Viper & Z06 owners headaches with a front drive neon. So I'd prefer to beat the superior car. The way I look at the roll races. The fastest guy is usally the guy with the deepest pockets. He's gonna win the roll races. But the same guy is rarely the best driver from a dig!
