lol @ this thread
who cares what a car can and can't do it only matters what you can do in it. Sure my car should be a high 13 car, but the best i could muster out of it (before tune and gears) was a stupid 14.6, so for now until i can get a better time with my car its a 14.6 @ 99 car... lol

slips talk louder then this text.

Slicks should be a mandatory first mod for anyone that want's to run at the track. Espically in a front drive car!

I've never actually raced but according to my dyno numbers. I should run 8s on street tires.

run 12's on street tires and then you have a 12 second car... until then, you don't, if it's so possible and easy I don't see what the big deal is right? I mean EVERYONE runs 12's with just a tune... it's cake! so go do it ::looks at watch::

sorry, you can't change the rules of S&S just because you think your sh*t doesn't stink xD
LOL, I've been a member on here longer than you have, and longer than most of the people who have posted in this thread, so yeah I'm calling people names who have been here longer. I'm not trying to change the rules, never said I was, so I dont know where that came from. Who cares what I say to a Moderator, they're no GOD, they're just someone who thinks they're important because they're on a website all the time. And no I'm not talking **** or anything towards you, so dont try and use your powers to BAN me!!

Never had a FWD car that I took to the track, so I didnt know how much of a difference it was. That and at first I didnt wanna sacrifice removing the Brembos and downgrading, but now I really dont care, so hopefully I will downgrade brakes next Spring and slap on some slicks.

The brembos are awesome. I would just find a drag radial to fit over them and call it a day. GM Built a really well rounded car when they built the SS.

Yeah I seen that, but on the stock turbo it doesnt mean anything to me, LOL. But that Borg Warner S256 does sound nice, once ZZP releases the kit!!

But if all I plan on doing is drag racing the car, and driving it when it's nice outside, I dont see the need in Brembos. And I'm sure slicks will hook up way better than drag radials.

I care! Stay within the rules of this forum and you will have no problems. But disrespecting forum staff is never a smart idea.
