Default STS-V vs me

I come up to a light, and start checking out this caddy next to me. I'm getting ready...hopeing this guy want's to play. Sure enough, light turns green, and we both nail it. I get about a 1/2 car lead, and maintain it till around 60, where i have to let off due to traffic.

We both merge on the e-way at this point. He gets next to me, and i downshift to 3rd at around 65 mph. Right as i do this he just nails it. He get's a good car on me initially, but really doesn't seem to pull me much after that. At the top of 4th (115 for me) i shut down, and he still only had a 1-1/2 length on me.

On the second run it's pretty much the same situation (he just nails it right as i shift into 3rd) but i'm spraying this time. I quickly reel him in, and by the top of 4th i have a good 2 car lead.

I looked up the stats, and it appears these cars are good for a 13.3 @ 106 with 470 hp. I knew i'd crush him on the nitrous, but was impressed i could hang with it n/a.

i know this is a mustang board and all but their is no way you outran a cts-v. on the juice i could see it being close. i just read on another post a guy beating a c5-zo6. this is doubtful at best.

Well, if you look up the stats it's very believable. A 13.3 @ 106 mph is not much better than a 13.3 @ 104, which is my best n/a. Also, it was 85 degrees when i did that run, so some cooler weather, and it's fairly close.

You're thinking of the CTS-V. Those are a different story.

a 13 second 4.4L supercharged northstar that traps like 105MPH if it's lucky
