We are in the middle of a major remodeling here at home and I finally was able to get my network back up and running, and get the scanner back on line this evening.
The Xcharger S/C really liked the cool air we had that day, and Lapeer did a great job of track prep.
Not bad for a heavy V6 convertible. Had a guy in a GT ask to line up and when we got back to the pits he came down to look under the hood.
When we went down to his friends they all said "your car isn't stock, not with that whine" and the GT owner said "absolutely not stock, he has a supercharger under that hood and I just got spanked by a V6 convertible!" They all said they weren’t sure what I had because of the dual exhaust with the Pony grill and side badge. Another guy with a Charger Daytona with a S/C on his Hemi didn't want to run me for some reason (he seemed to be running low 14's all day and I was in the mid 13's all day)

Very nice! Were you running the DR's in your sig pic?
That is right, same wheels and tires as in the sig. I bought a set of Mickey Thompsons on the stock V6 wheel, and then painted the wheel to better match my black bullitts.

Story?
Several people have tried - and proven - that a supercharger or turbo and nitrous do NOT play well together. Everyone who has tried it has blown up at some point. So before the Xcharger went on the car the nitrous came off and was sold.

So when are going to run your car? Why don't you meet us at Lapeer on November 7, there is a group going up again.

like he said, on our 4.0 site, every single car that has sprayed with a turbo or s/c has blown up. each time they say "well ill be different" and boom.
in fact 90% of the 4.0 engines blown have had nitrous involved somehow.
i can only think of 2 on our site off hand that had no nitrous involved.

On just the 75 shot spray I didn't have any problems, and the only one I know of it was a combination of events. He jumped up to either a 100 or 125, didn't have a window switch, and the spray hit at less than 2,000 rpm. Piston came apart, rod broke, and put a nice window in the side of the block.
I saw another one when I friend had a Vortech S/C with a 75 shot of spray on it. He thought he had figured out the secret with a window switch that wouldn't let it spray until he was in second gear and over 2500 rpm. Another piston came apart and rod broke and windowed the block. I recall that it seemed like the first thing to let go was the top ring land on the piston, but I'm not positive now.
