I think that '98-'00's are generally considered to be 350hp at the crank and '01/'02's are generally considered to be 360-365hp at the crank.

Yea right now id say my dad's car is pushin around 400 to the tire, at least thats what guys with similar set ups are pushin.

Yea i want to tell my buddy to make his car faster...but i don't want him to beat me haha. Im hopin either heads and cams next summer or a s/c...so i guess its fair for him to mod lol.

Nice win. Your buddies upgrades are the everykids mods for a skittle. Depending on the model year of the car the Stage 1 is just a PCM reflash. If it's an 03 skittle it'll get the 04-05s injectors in the kit also. Like someone mentioned above the SRTs didn't really have a blow off valve so the noise maker your buddy bolted on is probably not helping the car at all. Most likely hurting it but ricer kids love a bunch of noise.

Yea it doesn't sound like a lot of BOV's ive heard. But oh well its still a nice lil ride. How much power can those engines hold w/ an aftermarket turbo?

I know the motors are good for atleast 400whp, so I've heard. My Brother has an 05 with pretty much full bolt ons. He's looking to get a Delta 55 turbo upgrade next year, or a Borg Warner S256.
