My wife AC, little cousin Malloy, and I drove up to Warrenton, VA today to pick up the new baby. It's a 2003 Mach 1, manual with 22k miles on the clock, DSG in color. It already has a SLP Loudmouth II cat-back, drop in KN filter, weld in subframe connecters (stock ones suck), and a strut tower brace. I got a good deal on it at $14k out the door, so I had to have it. It is seriously flawless. I can't find a scratch on it anywhere. My wife did a little car hopping with the camera to get some video of both cars. She accidentally left it zoomed in, so its a little shakey. We only actually honked off one of the runs, the other was just one of those "go when you do" type deals. Both runs were from about 60 mph to 115 mph or so, nothing to formal. In the S197s defense, my cousin was driving it, and he has no experience with that car, although he does drag his Cobra every other weekend or so. He started in 4th gear, which I felt like was a mistake. I think he could've dropped it to 3rd, then quickly powered into 4th and stayed closer. I started in 3rd, and shifted hard into 4th. I have a good bit of experience with Machs, so the driver mod definitely went to me. The S197 does however, have a lot more mods. It has 4.10s, Intake, Dyno Tune, Mac Mufflers, Pulleys, STS, and LCAs (NA in this roll race of course). Hope the vid is satisfactory, she did the best she could.
Haha, you bought another Mach? This made my day. I'm going to buy myself a white one in the next few years, good chance you will be a former owner of whatever Mach I buy.
Lmao at 83! Thats my favorite part of the list anyway, lol! There has been a few more. I've also had two 2Vs, a M6 GTO, a WRX, Dakota R/T, and a Mazdaspeed3, along with a few Jeeps, etc.
When you buy your Mach in a few years, just shoot me your VIN and I'll let you know what mods I did to it!

I can't make up my mind. It would be better/smarter to sell it and put the money towards more important things, but every time I look at that beautiful bitch I want to hang on to it, lol.
