Back to the track with new setup

so i went to the track tonite for street cars test and tune.... had some decent runs with my new vortech setup..... these runs are with my sig mods minus the bmr lca's and uca..... havnt had time to install and set them up... also im still on 235 stock tires.... overall ive been down the track 6 times, 4 of them tonite.... i know i need to work on my lauch, 60', and i deff need a better burnout.... i know the car has more and cant wait to install the lca's/uca and get some better wider tires.....

1st run

The stock tires are killing ya, you need to get a set of stickys for the rear.

I have my Nitto DRs f/s...but they might be a little to wide for the stock rims.

Nice sixty. How many pounds of boost are you running? Suprised the MPH wasn't a little higher.

your 60 isn't bad for 235 streets, my best (out of 6 runs) was a 2.2 and that was with 245's

+1 I think your 60ft times are good....your trap speed is lower than I thought it would be. With your hp/tq I thought it would be about 5 mph higher. Great runs though...especially for only going down the track 6 times.

thanx, im runnin 8 psi right now... just the base kit from vortech..... i think my probelm with my trap speed is traction.... i was still spinning through half of second....

haha thanx man... i would like to get my 60's under 2.0 and i know i can do that once i get the lca/uca installed and better tires!

Thats exactly what I was going to say... that it looks like you're spinning further down the track. Your 60' is fine. Maybe you could take it easy going into 2nd, in other words, shift lighty or either short shift it into 2nd? Might help.

^thanx man, thats deff the probelm. i just spoke to my brother, he was in the stands watchin. he said even when i went to 3rd i did a soild chirp.. i know 1st to most of 2nd im spinning as well..... and i was lettin her off at 1500-2000k rpm just to get decnt traction out of the hole.... thanx for your feedback guys
