Finally a 13 sec run
As promised, I'm posting the video of my first official 13 sec run. My PB before was a 14.10 @ 98 with a DA of 6350'. I went to Vegas, ran a 13.69 @ 100 - DA was 2995'.

You can really feel the 4-5 tenths difference while driving around in Vegas compared to Salt Lake.

Nice work Grampa! 4-5 tenths is a huge improvement, and definitely felt via butt dyno.
On that last pass you made, I bet the track had cooled down a lot while they were cleaning up the oil. A cold track hurts.
What were the temps when you ran?

Nice job... though something has me puzzled.... the difference between my 3200ft DA pass and near 0 was 3 tenths and 3mph... if that DA is accurate something is still odd with your trap speeds, they should be higher I think. Either way congrats on the new best and thanks for posting!!!

Congrats I finally got into the 13s myself last summer with a 4500' DA.
So a 3355' drop in DA helped shave over 4 tenths off your time. Were your 60' times the same? Not sure if you posted slips I can't see that from work. :/

Nice job, I think that is a good time for your mods and the DA. and you could be right about his mph being a little low.. I lost some mph when I went to the 4.10s... but he does have the 3.73s.. so the mph could be right, but still seems a bit low. I've never ran in DA that good though are those heavy wheels? just trying to figure out why the mph is low.. its still a good time slip imo.. it's sad when Vegas DA is better than where you normally run.. and people in vegas complain about their DA all the time

The low trap has to be the gears. I know I trapped higher with 3.31's. But I'll admit, I though I'd trap higher myself. My shift points are at 6250. Which is 1st-2nd at 41.85, 2nd -3rd at 58.85, 3rd - 4th at 87.51, which puts me in 4th
Looking at my timeslips, I'd pickup between 18 & 20 mph on the back 1/8th. Sometimes, at the 1/8 I'd be at 79 mph and finish at 99 mph (+20mph), then others I'd be 82 at the 1/8 and trap 100 (only +18 mph). I don't get it. not 1 time did I ever have a traction issue (not countling the last run).
My best 60' was 2.111. others were 2.150, 2.164, 2.168, 2.200
There was an '08 bullitt that ran 14.4 at 98, a 2010 Camaro that went 14.2 at 100. I raced and beat an '05 GTO that went 14.04 at 102. Here's another video below of some random races. vette, mustang, firebird

what would you be 'around' at sea level?
I live at a pretty good elevation and I ran a bit quicker than that in an obviously slower car,,,would this be a 12 second pass in good air?
