bad day at track, help

it has not been on the dyno, the guy that tuned it was in the middle of getting his own shop up and running and didnt have the dyno ready, it should be ready within the next couple weeks so we are gonna throw it on the dyno and check everything with the tune to make sure everything looks good. would the white smoke coming out of the exhaust when i shift mean that it is running lean?

i wouldnt know, but there more then one car around my area that has a gt with exhaust and a vortech and they are low 12 second cars with a set of drag radials. they dyno around 400 even. you should without a doubt be trapping 110 plus i would assume?

That 103 trap seems low. I don't think this is entirely a driver issue. My stock 08 GT traps 104 and I'm probably making 270whp. With your GT being close to the weight of my car (3350) that you're making about 260-270whp as well. Is that what's expected with a Vortech on a 2 valve?

Don't run it hard anymore until you get that checked out by someone who knows their stuff. While you're waiting to get to a shop, check your oil and make sure its not milky white. Also keep a check on your temps, etc. You maybe fine, but play it safe just in case.

I think his car has some serious issues as well... Its really odd to see a car that should be pushing that much power bog. I figured he was just really bad at launching (reving to 1500, dumping clutch and not really getting into the loud pedal righ away). Ive seen some people at the drag strip who have no idea how to launch their cars. Its amazing how many vipers you see pull mid 15's for example.
You said you have white smoke coming out of the exhaust? When is it doing that? And do you have an air/fuel gauge on the car? If not you really need to install one. I would be very worried about the white smoke - could be a/f mixture way off, could also be a head gasket or cracked head. If you have a gasket blown out, then you likely have no compression in what ever cylinder its blown out on, which will make the car run like crap. Either way, that is a bad situation for a boosted motor.
If I were you, I would get it looked at asap. See if you are getting white smoke at idle or while partial throttle. If your exhaust smells "sweet" at all, then its likely you have some coolant coming through somewhere. You may want to do a quick oil change as well and see if you have any milky looking junk in your oil. Get it to a shop ASAP if you dont feel comfortable looking at it - the very last thing you want to do is wipe a bearing with coolant and have to rebuild the motor. Its most likely not coolant, much more likely to be either loading with fuel too early and flooding/bogging or leaning out too much at the top end, but I wouldnt take my chances. Any of those three things are not good.

Also, have you pulled a sparkplug and looked at it yet? That will tell you a lot about how your car is running. If you have fouled up black plugs, your likely running too rich. If its a white burnt up look, your running to lean, likely up top. You can find some comparison charts online to compare how yours look and get atleast some idea of how the a/f is acting.

thanks for all the inputs, and someone said that they just saw the white smoke come out whenever i shifted into 2nd and 3rd. my tuner should have his shop up and running in just a few weeks, and hes gonna throw it on the dyno and check out the A/F and everything, so until i will just be extra easy on her. in the meanwhile, i will check out the spark plugs and oil. i know i just checked the oil a few weeks ago and it seemed perfectly fine but it wouldnt hurt to check again. and no i do not have an A/F guage, are they easy to hook up? dont know much about that...
