he running a stock bottom end on that car??

easy to see how the centri builds power, you had the hit and he reeled you in as the boost came on!

yup stock bottom end, made like 480 rwhp tuned pretty conservative to keep the motor together for the time being. He was maxed out in 4th when he let off

damn that things bad! good runs, seems like you guys have alot of fun up north. that is a REALLY conservative tune, i saw a novi 1500 S197 on the dyno yesterday put down 492 at 11.5 psi stock everything

I don't blame him, I'd be running the same tune with that much boost on a stock bottom.

Sick vid, JT! I wasn't expecting him to pull quite that hard up top, but then again, he is pushing a lot of air. I like the instant power your TA has though. Thats the beauty of going the NA route. I had to re-read the video description to make sure it said the race was 1-4th. I say that because you guys went through those 4 gears so damn fast, lol. Makes me feel slower than you know man.

Yeah, at 14psi i'm not surprised at the outcome. You did pretty well though, all things considered.

I'm pretty pissed off. How did a cam only car lose?

Both cars sounded really nice.

Yeah Eric Brooks was flown up here to tune a few local cars, he knows his stuff. All dynos read different, the proof is in the pudding (track times, runs against other cars). It made close to 500 uncorrected. The number we "went by" was the SAE correction which was 480 rwhp. On a different local dyno my car made 390rwhp NA (it was a mustang dyno, i would estimate mine would make 415-420 on the dynojet the mustang was on) .. so you can see just from the video above that there are many factors

I am not sure to tell you the truth. I took the kit off and its sitting in a box up in my garage. I really dont know what direction i want to take with the car to be honest. I am having a blast as it sits, but i do want more. I have parts kicking around for an FI build, but my buddy who builds engines locally is the devil on my shoulder trying to get me talked into an LS3 based 416 stroker and some spray. No matter what, the next "step" is going to cost some $.
