2011 Mustang racing an L99 2010 Camaro
Ford provided this video pitting an auto 2011 GT against an auto 2010 SS.

They sure do love putting the two cars side by side...im curious as to what all of you think...the GT hands out quite the beating.

That's a pretty huge margin of victory. I thought the GT got a good jump, but at around the 52 second mark it looks like they left at the same time.
GM should step up the auto SS, which probably won't be too difficult.....but I actually hope they leave the auto SS as a turd. I don't understand why it did not get the LS3 motor.

because the LS3 isnt equipped with the multiple displacement system...or whatever GM calls it. they wanted the auto camaro to be very good on gas. i dont know what the take rate is for the M6, but I would think that they sell more automatics and if they get better mileage, it helps with their CAFE rating. that being said, i think that its odd that they left such a big gap between the manual and auto ratings.
for the video...im not real sure how many different races we are watching...i suspect that it is several.

I have seen another video on youtube that showed at least two different races, both start to finish. One race the mustang tree'd the ss noticably but the other race both cars had a good launch. This video was also at that airport runway.
