I guess It's not 'lack of respect' on my end that does it... I owned an LT1 for 4 years during the LS1 early days (and more importantly the Z06 days)... you just have to realize you are playing in the 'big boys' sandbox and you are not going to get a huge celebration for your accomplishments. While those times are good for a 2v (as my times were always good for an LT1) you have to realize where you sit in the grand scheme of things and be humble. When I was cracking off 13s and proud of what I was doing with a couple of bolt ons people were pulling 11s at near 120mph out of bone stock LS6 Z06 cars.

It's honestly hard to give most cars respect in the era of bone stock factory cars running 10 second 1/4 mile times off the showroom floor (and trapping ~130mph!!!). My LS1 certainly doesn't deserve any praise IMHO so seeing someone fishing in a 2v is just funny to me.
