I know you guys like having videos for proof but my friend was talking s*** and we needed to get this done and no one had a camera. if i can get him to race me again ill get it on camera lol.

So i have a 2008 v6 mustang with intake, headers, clutch,8.8(4.10s), 130 shot of nitrous and full tune.

My friend has a 09 wrx(which is faster than the STI lol) with a turbo back exhaust, intake, injectors, and full tune.

So anyways ever since he got his car tuned he was talking s*** because he has 290 wheel hp and 320tq with just an exhaust and intake. I didnt tell him i got tuned too and have 323hp and 418tq : ) so he is always saying how his car is faster because he has all wheel drive and all this stuff and i only have a V6. So i finally get him to race me after a few months of him having the car(after countless times inviting him to the track). I was going to put the drag radials on because he has AWD but i figured it wasn't worth the hassle. so we go out and we line up. we had his gf flag for us because the horn honking thing sucks lol. He gets off the line in a hurry (AWD) and i spun alot. so he grabbed a car from me but then i grabbed 2nd and once i stopped spinning i started pulling hard. I think the race was a little over 1/4 mile but i was at least 3 or 4 cars in front of him. we wen a few more time and i did better because i didnt spray in first. we did two races from a roll( his request) and he did better but i still won.

Needless to say he got really sad. lol He does still talk crap tho. He is always saying well lets go on a twisty road or wait until i get more parts ( like im done upgrading my car? no lol) I always tell him if we are going on the twisty roads ill grab my R6 ; )

Nice runs, way to put him in his place. Watched your vid for the 12.6 run. Sweet pass. Right away i noticed you were at Infineon. That's the track i go to as well. Where are you from exactly? I'm over in vallejo. I have been trying to make some passes but the last 2 times out my clutch failed. I hope to head out there in about 2 weeks once i get my twin disc put in.

Well a 11 seconds is my goal for now but i will have it in the 10s before im done with it. I know of two V6 mustangs my same year that are in the 10s and even more in the 11s. : )

haha thanks. Ya thats infinion. I live in hollister.its about an hour south of san jose. I have had work the last three weeks and i do tomorrow but im going the wednesday after for sure. I hope to see you there. I'll be in the street class with all the big boys
