Default Last Race in my 05 GT was a good one.

I was heading down to the dealership to trade in my car, and I ended up getting one more race. An 02 BMW M5 pulled next to me and started revving the engine. I looked over at him and knew I had an advantage. I dropped into second and hit it to let him know I wasn't stock. He caught up and kept revving so I thought alright! The guy took off, and I had some catching up to do. I started around forty five, spun through second, started catching through third. I finally caught up at the top of third and passed going into fourth. The guy ended up rolling down his window cause he was turning left and I was going straight. He asked how much I had, and I asked how much he had. Really nice car and guy. I'm picking up my 03 blue termi today, and was happy that I got one more good race in my 05.

Sonic, but right now the deal is a little shakey because someone put a deposit on the car, so they won't sell it to me right now.

He told me that he had a tune, but didn't say anything about any parts put on. He said his car was putting down around 450 to the flywheel and just had it tuned to where the car can top out around 180 mph. I dunno if that is really possible or not, but that's what he said

If it was the E60 M5 than thats easily possible. Those cars have a 500HP V10. They'll hit that with out any problem at all.

Thats not the E50 M5 with 500hp... a 2002 would be the M5 with a V8 and around 400hp, similar speed to the new 5.0
