I think 2 things gave me the edge:
- We started from a 5 mph roll with temps in the 80's. That's when my car's tires simply dig in w/o any spin, which wiped out his AWD advantage. Also, the Race tune gives my car's engine zero throttle lag when going WOT during a low speed, low rpm roll.
- His engine was breaking up. Even though I couldn't detect it during the heat of battle, I belieive the owner based on the media's test numbers.
