haha, yea for sure. I was born and raised in Florida. when i moved here. I brought my 2006 Suzuki SV1000s that had some mods done to it. In florida, you COULD NOT go over half throttle in first gear, or you would have the front tire way in the air. half throttle the tire was starting to loft off the ground.......

HERE? I COULD NOT get it to power itself up in first gear, I had to pop the clutch to get the front tire in the air!

so yea...... HUGE difference in power, hahaha

I think with the cams that I have already + the V1, the pulley (3.48) and the Anderson Power Pipe I should be able to get close to 450 but sadly I still have that crap of a 2V stock block so I'm gonna have the guy tune her down to about 410..I'm gonna put a MMR 900 block on layaway and try to pay it off by next summer..Then I'll be shooting for 500RWHP.

Would be interstering to compare slip though. What do you think? 14.2's-3's @ 99-100 in the GT?
[* talking stockish... no blower/n20/FI/CAM + all bolt on guys need to tell me i'm wrong kthxbye]

To be honest (no offense to the 2v guys out there)... unless the 2V gt nails a great launch the whole run is going to be crap. They didn't exactly shine in the upper rpms and their main strength seemed to be cutting good 60fts and pulling off a solid 1/8th mile run. Against another car trapping 100+mph a roll race isn't going to be the best situation for them.
Just my .02.

I drove his GT, launched it, tached it out, all that good stuff. It might trap 100 mph, with a 14.2 or so ET imo on a good run. My Cobalt trapped 103.4 before I did my header and weld in muffler. The only reason he got out front at all was because my pos kept breaking traction, then turned around and started boiling the clutch in 2nd. You can pretty much see it in the vid, then once everything gets itself together, I pulled on past him pretty hard. All I can say about the G35 is that it is as strong as my SS down low, but doesn't have all the traction and shifting issues, so as it sits i can't do a damn thing with that car from a dig. We did a roll and I pulled on her about a car from 55-120-ish. The GT in this thread needs 4.10s just to break into the 13s. With full, and I mean everything, bolt-ons, cams, tires, and a tune, he should be able to run low 13s. I know some GTs have done better with said mods, but I don't see this car running that at the track here. I have no doubts what-so-ever that this G35 with run a 13.8-14.0 at 102 mph, maybe better when it cools down.
