That's what I was thinking, those little turbo and s/c cars always do well up here compared to larger displacement NA engines

IDK, it's not like the SC was running good times. Was in Kansas.

yeah.. kansas doesn't have any high elevation tracks.. and that camaro way out launched the cobalt.. i think.. hard to see with that crappy video. had to have been a v6... a v8 launched that well would have just destroyed him unless they really had some ridicilous bad DA, but this was 11-12, DA should have been awesome. I might be able to believe that it was an SS if he launched it like a little girl and we saw a shift to 2nd gear looking like my grandma was driving.. but that didn't look like that was the case.

"He asked what was done to my car and I said stock clutch at 109k miles haha"

::Facepalm::

I also like how everyone on the board is like no.. no it was a v6... and he still insists it was a v8.. I want to ask how he knows it was a v8 and not a v6..

edit: also checked the DA at the 3 tracks listed in KS.. worst DA was 500ft, the rest were around 50ft DA.

Looks like a missed 3rd gear to me... I always see low 14/high 13s @ 80~85mph if I miss 3rd and just coast the car. No need to go ***** out on a pass when it's already going to be a bad one.

like I said before... a mid-high 14 second pass trapping 95-96MPH is a WOT run... that trap with the E.T. leaves no room for getting out of it, it's definitely a V6

if you read the last few posts from that kid he doesn't even know how the 1/4 mile track works and still didn't understand it when someone explained it to him... best not to waste your time with someone like that.

I love the reaction time though... it's the easiest way to weigh if someone knows what they are talking about

HIM: "WELL IF MY REACTION TIME WAS BETTER THAN-" ME: "PHHHHHHWAHAHAHAHAHAHA! STFU"

you would be surprised with the people I hear at the strip still thinking their reaction time makes a difference... that is part of the reason why I made my 1/4 mile 101 video

here PD, post this link up to him... it should hopefully get through to him
