All of the stupid ricer kids around here say POWER TO WEIGHT blaaahhh!! and doing work with the 4cyl yeaaarrghh.... all the while driving 14-15 sec cars (which would be around a 13-14 sec at sea level)... no your car isn't fast, doesn't matter that its under 3k lbs. In todays world 13 sec is a quick enough car.. but its no powerhouse.. more and more factory cars are 13 sec cars.. and now even budget performance cars run in the 12s and hitting 11s with minimal mods.
also remember.. there is quite a bit more than power to weight in judging a cars handling and acceleration... he was also bragging about his car's handling, which is crap... and all of the ricers think their honda civic turns on a dime.. maybe it does, but thats because it doesnt get over 15mph in the auto-x

Yep. As soon as I upgrade the clutch and add slicks, I will be in the 12s and able to beat or keep up with alot more than that. If you dont think a car with only 223whp/225wtq able to hit 12s in a quarter is impressive, you are pretty stupid

Like I said. I drive a 2000 ford focus with the Zetec engine daily. I'm not impressed, nor would i ever want to mod the focus.
my mustang will go twice as fast as the focus for the same cost, probably way less. I would rather go faster for cheap. and In the end I've made a ECONOMY car, fast, which is just dumb. they where never built for it. its just retarded.

Cool. Well your Mustang has an engine more than twice the size and with 4 more cylinders, of course you can make it faster for less money. Thats not the point. Oh, and I DD my Focus too. I can stay out of boost and have my normal economy, gas sipping Focus that gets 30 MPG. Wont get that in a V8, you need another car just to drive normally
