I know how ricers act, but I don't see where this guy was building his car up to be some sort of monster. I didn't read the thread in its entirety, but from what little bit I did read of his posts, he simply stated that he was happy with the results the turbo gave him. Said he felt pretty good about going from a 17 or 18 second car to possibly a high 13 second car. I gotta agree with Morbid's attitude however, only I gotta take a dump, not a shower.

and a little pissed about the 8-pointer I shot at and missed yesterday.

Yep. As soon as I upgrade the clutch and add slicks, I will be in the 12s and able to beat or keep up with alot more than that. If you dont think a car with only 223whp/225wtq able to hit 12s in a quarter is impressive, you are pretty stupid

Well, to hold you over till I do, here is one of my friends 13.0 second run in his 07 Focus. He has the same setup I do but with the upgraded clutch and slicks. He ran this at 10psi, then he hit 12.9 when he ran at 11psi a few weeks later

Like I said. I drive a 2000 ford focus with the Zetec engine daily. I'm not impressed, nor would i ever want to mod the focus.

my mustang will go twice as fast as the focus for the same cost, probably way less. I would rather go faster for cheap. and In the end I've made a ECONOMY car, fast, which is just dumb. they where never built for it. its just retarded.

Cool. Well your Mustang has an engine more than twice the size and with 4 more cylinders, of course you can make it faster for less money. Thats not the point. Oh, and I DD my Focus too. I can stay out of boost and have my normal economy, gas sipping Focus that gets 30 MPG. Wont get that in a V8, you need another car just to drive normally
