Default I knew it was going to be a turd but..........

I knew the horsepower when I bought it, but I went to Milan on Saturday and ripped off (right) a 15.53 as my best run of the day. No, I didn't powershift, but I almost put my helmet on. Instead I just left in shame. I think its time for maybe a Windsor or something.

A few of us almost went on Saturday. We're going to shoot for next weekend and see what happens. How was the turnout?

Is the car pretty much stock? With a 15.5 i'm guessing so lol. My buddy has a 95 with a Trick Flow top end kit and a 100 shot, and it runs pretty damn strong. That might be one avenue to consider.

It's a stock engine with like 220hp when new....

Just built a 347 and go run 11's.

Not bad at all. You have all sorts of avenues to take as far as modding and the sky is the limit depending on what you want. At least you have a wide open and relatively cheap aftermarket to work with.

I got a mild 347 in my '95 into the high 11's. but if i could do it all again, I'd save a lot of the hassle and just throw a supercharger on it. if your car doesn't smoke and doesn't have a crap ton of miles, then i'd consider that. Also, is it an auto?

+1 to that

If I would do it all over agian, I would just have put a turbo on mine and called it done. would have been daily driveaable, and made more power then I am I right now.

Exactly. He has one of the easiest and cheapest motors to mod and actually get huge gains out of.
