Default Went to the 1/8 mile last night...

I was able to make it out to a TnT at Old Dominion Speedway in Manassas, Va. last night after getting my car back from the tuner. While the car was in the shop, I had it converted to a blow thru MAF and had a new pulley installed to drop the boost down to 10lbs (ive been running 14lbs since last August and I began to think it was too much for a stock bottom end). With this tune, the car put down 400 rwhp and 360 rwtq. Another addition to the car this year is a PI Stallion 3200 stall converter. My best out of the afternoon was:

60 ft: 1.71
1/8: 7.63
MPH: 89.7

I was very happy with this run. The 'stang ran like a champ. Can't wait to see what it does on April 30th in the 1/4.

Those are strong runs. Sounds like the bottom end is holding in there pretty well. Do you DD that car, or is it just a weekend toy? Are you running meth or anything?

thanks. the engine has done well so far (knock on wood). The car is my DD with about a 45 mile round trip to work each day. Thats one reason I tuned it down and my wife didnt like the idea of spending a few grand on a new motor if this one let loose, lol. I do have a more agressive "race" tune I plan to use when I go to the track on the 30th. I was really happy with the car.
