I had a bbk hpipe before and it hung super low, I have more clearance now with the lt's to be honest. And it's flowtech lt's/catless x and magnapack catback.

Whew, I know you had a long day then! Hope you had a few cold ones to help out, lol. Does she feel any stronger with the LTs (NA or spraying)?

stock evo8's weigh right around 3100

stock '00 gt's weigh ~3200

so you guys were probably right around the same weight with mods, not a very big difference. im surprised evos weigh that much considering they got an I4 vs the v8 in you gt

I think GTs are more in the mid 3500 pound range. EVOs have AWD, so 3100 is actually pretty light considering they have all the extra drivetrain parts, 4 doors, etc.

The Evo guy said it weighs right around 3300 but I dunno if that's true tho.

And stone the headers weren't bad. Took me about 5 hours by myself. Dropping the k made it super easy, all the bolts stairwd me right in the face when it's out.

after hearing how much mrt picked up with his longtubes when spraying i've been trying very hard to set up another race with this guy. I was actually up north with the guy and a few other people this weekend but he didn't bring the evo :/. however he just got a new map for it so he's more willing to race from a lower roll, so it should be pretty sweet, Also this is the guy that had the black 6.0 gto that i raced ALL the time with my '95.

I'd say on the gas, LTs should do wonders for you. Probably would pick up 20-25 extra HP out of them. It would be nice if the 2V would respond that well to LTs while NA.

+1 on that K-member. It does make LTs a cinch, just didn't know if you had the car where you could actually do that.

You never had him... you never had your car! ... Now me and the mad scientist have to rip apart the block to replace the piston rings you fried...

LOL. Just kiddin'. Sorry. Had a Dom Toretto flashback. Anyway, nice almost kill. Sounds like you probably already have enough to get him now with the headers... and the new motor should be MORE than enough!

i kinda wish i never woulda dropped the kmember. it's all jacked up now my steerings off, i have a vibration at 50+ and my headers hitting the body somewhere causing a "rough" idle.

even with the lt's I dont think i'd be able to get him unless we went from a dig. all he has to do is brake boost and shift fast and he should run away from me. but that being said i'm still gonna try to set something up
