I thought I saw an auto pulling off 12.3 stock...turned out to have a tuner... the guy driving told me it was bone stock at the track but one of his friends told the truth online a few days later. Too hard to tell and people lie..

Yea, I said the same thing to my buddies when we were there, "theres no way that car is stock" but I checked out his car, the only thing he really could have had was a tune, but he really had no reason to lie about it. Dude was one hell of a driver.

Idk why thats hard to believe, sounds right on to me.

Werent the magazines testing them at near 13.0 on street tires? With drs or a tune they should be running about that, especially at sea level.

Those cars move out.

Hell, they have the boss 302 running 11.7s with drag radials, otherwise stock.

yes they are very capable of those numbers ... its the "stock" reference I was questioning.
once you get a tune or use d.r. , stock numbers are out the window . and 12.4 for a
"bone-stock" 5.0 has to be some kind of record !

^ agreed.

but not bad times op. I'm sure just with some more seat time and practice you could get it down to some 13 flats. then some better tires will greatly help. what were your 60 foots?

OP, good starting point!! Practice and sticky tires will get your times down.

I ran a 12.11 @ 117 MPH in my '11 GT (M6, 3.73) when it had a 93 octane tune, CAI and O/R X-pipe. This was on a 17" MT drag radial with a 1.72 60 foot.

No prob. You'll definitely be pleased when you upgrade your control arms. Traction is good!
