Yeah I'm just missing the 243 heads. Though I don't think I'm leaving a lot on the table without them. Ported though and I stand to gain a lot of power, the bolt on z06 power numbers are pretty impressive so I'm happy with the weak sauce cam I picked.

I've always heard that it's not worth the swap without porting the 243s too. I want to do the same combo due to the relatively cheap costs and the fact that I dont want to have to deal with the drawbacks of an aggressive cam, etc. Like you said, the c5 Zo6 puts down some pretty impressive numbers with a few bolt ons.

I would pull the passenger seat. In my mustang its 4 bolts and the seat is god dang 42lb's. (1995 sn95 seats)

IDK about pulling the swaybar....... change one or two things at a time, tires and longtubes should make a good difference.

get that going, then pull the swaybar and see what the car does. that way if it launch's funny or something you won't wonder what's causing the issue

I did a ton of reading last night... looks like some automatic cars with 241s are putting down 370ish even with LTs and this cam.

I did find a set of 243s for 400 shipped... I think I'm better off just doing headers and getting a tune though... Not sure I really care if I make it over the 400rwhp mark..not really any bragging rights in it for me around here.

I feel the same way. I wouldnt mind more top end, hence talking about a cam, but even with 400 rwhp, its still far from being considered fast. Does your cam have much lope to it, as in, is it audible at all?

Lope? I would have to convince you the cam was changed to be honest. It's honestly a little smoother than the original cam that came out, idle just sits perfect and she will push around in 6th at 600rpm without dying even. There is literally no way to tell I've done anything without pulling off some valve covers.

Just got a PM from someone local...may have found coated Pacesetters for 325.00.

Makes sense, its a tiny cam. A lot of people say its not worth it, but imo its worth it if the price is right and/or 243s are added. Thats a good deal on those pacesetters! Those fit like a glove on our cars.

Oh damn, I thought that was with the Y pipe... Might as well go with the stainless OBX, ory, two resonaters, hardware/gaskets for $475 then.
