Most of the C5s are old men and women. I have seen a few Z06s but why run them in my car what the hell I would anyway but haven't got the chance yet. I have had a few older men race me in the new 05 GTs. It sucks too cause I'm not expecting it and 2 of them have left me at lights. So now I take it all serious.

LS1 pimp representin'.

And in the real world, the Z06 will be driven like most other Vettes on the road; by sissy old men doing 55 in the right lane and punking out from any challenges. I don't even know why they buy all that horsepower.

Note: I said most.
oh what a ****ty stereotype you made.

Ive seen WAY more older men and women in a mustang than a z06. Most people with a z06 bought it for the power and they do RUN IT.

you probably just see the slow people going 55 because you cant keep up with the z06 going 186.

I've heard stories of r/t publishing numbers based off of add revenue... seems a bit far fetched to me but you never know.

As far as the times... i've seen video of it running 12.0's with gm employes on corvette day or something... so basically the avg driver managing a 12.0 in terrible conditions, yet they only 12.3.

Don't forget a car like the Z06 (and SRT10 or GT) is not meant for drag racing, so likely you'll NOT see them at the strip.

I've seen a few C5s and 2 Z06s at my school's autoX club. More can be spotted at the road courses. If I can afford a Z06, I will definitely not make it a drag car. Maybe a few runs every year just to see how the motor's doing.

Where the hell are all of the LS1 peeps? We have not had a debate in some time now. Hope to see you soon[sm=badbadbad.gif] When the car comes out and we start getting actual numbers on it and then the Cobra come out we will have many debates on that.
Thats kinda my point 01GT, the LS1 guys have hardly been on here yet Jdan keeps crying about them even when thier gone, I think he misses his boyfriend 98LS1.
I just figured I would see what was going on around here and it seems alittle dead to me. I think some of you mustang guys miss having us GM boys around sometimes after all.

Overall, this stereotype has a lot of truth to it. I did make a point of saying "most." Although the two guys that I know with Z06's actually do run the crap outta them, one is my age and the other isn't too much older (late 20's/early 30's).
