yes, gonna have a 38-4000 stall and i believe he's got 3.73's in it right now, but it's a stock rear end so that'll go out soon lol. He bought the heads/intake used and that guy had those parts with an ms3 and i believe he made 43x thru an auto.

Any idea on the heads?

Yea, that rear is going to be hit or miss. Some last a long damn time, some come apart right off the bat. Lots of theories behind it, but thats another thread.

they're ported 241's from texas speed. not sure on flow numbers or anything tho. I know he got a friggin steel on the parts. got the heads with springs, brand new comp lifters and i believe isky rockers, valve covers, coil packs with msd wires, ls6 intake with a ported tb and i believe that's it for 1200 bucks.

Tried for a GT today... Sweet sounding 04 GT has been driving around lately and I followed him out of town. He gave it hell a little so I thought sweet!

As soon as we hit flat ground he pulls off and I get next to him.. First words out of his mouth?

'I'm not racing you...' .

Turns out he just has bassani and and a cold air kit, he knew I was faster... When I told him my mod list he just shook his head and smirked, he had heard I was fast, didnt know I had any mods. We chatted for a bit and parted ways. Nice car though and damn you mustangs for sounding sooooooo good.

I thought someone told me it was a two part deal...

- firing order
- dual exhaust setup

We sound like crap but supposively use a firing order that doesn't sound good and we have crapstastic single pipe setups. Either way I love the way mustangs sounds. 4.6/5.0 damn it. Lol

I think it mostly has to do with the modular motors. They do sound pretty sweet, but the older non-modular motors sound totally different.

They do sound different..but they still have that deep mellow tone I love.

There was something else about head design and location of the mufflers? I don't know it's all too complicated. lol

Appears firing order is the same...
