Well me and my friend are on our way home tonight from work and we're just cruising and i see what looks to be a G sedan, nice looking wheels, yellow hid fogs, overall nice looking car. So i slow down next to him and give a little rev, but theres traffic around us so i just proceed to drive. He gets behind me and we waited for traffic to clear and when it did, i got over and he pulled up next to me. This is when i notice that its an "M" series Infiniti but i didnt see the number there, and I could of swore i saw an "S" but after looking around online i dont think they made an M45xS. So i said screw it then he downshifts and I hear a V8, pretty loud, but sounded nice. My friend actually liked the way it sounded more than my car.

We're at around 60 in 4th and he honks it off and i punch it, he got the jump but then as my revs climbed i started pulling him in, at around 80-85 im about 1 car up and 110 when i shut down probably close to 2 1/2 - 3 cars.

I slow down after the first run and then he gets back up next to me then he slows down, so i slowed down next to him, we get to around 45-50 in 3rd he honks it off, and gets the jump again. This was a whole different story though. My car shined, by around 80 im up about 2 cars and to 110 in 4th im up around 4 or 5 cars.

I game him a thumbs up but I couldnt see him through his tinted windows. Overall good race.

After looking online it looks to be a 2005-2010 M45x, which makes 335 hp. Do you guys think this outcome makes sense?

Makes sense, you would have beaten him even worse from a dig I imagine

yeah, i got home and i was searching v8 m infiniti's and the new m56 comes up and it says 420 hp lol, i was like theres no way thats what i saw. Thanks

yeah i wish i gave my friend the phone so he could get a video but that didnt even come to my mind. this is probably the first serious race ive gotten. a lot of people around here just give you a fly by and run lol

Man, I was about to go all out calling BS on this run. I own an 07 G35-S (bit slower than the M), and have ran 2Vs....then I scrolled down and saw that blower in your sig, lol.

yeah i wouldnt mind running against an m56, with the weight and auto trans i think it could be close. and if not it will be after i get intercooled
