2001 gt vs 2012 camaro rs
I know very little about my mustang having bought it in February and not having done any mods myself. A coworker brought his moms new camaro rs v6 auto to work today. After work we decided to race em. I control no traction control, I'm working out an ABS problem and no third , i gotta replace the synchronizer. We line up and punch em I spin all through first and he jumps out maybe half a car so I grab second and not only close the gap but pull ahead a car. I hit redline and grab 4th and begin seeing him in my rear view and let off for the coming turn ahead.
I'm not expert on the new Camaros or mustangs but would this be the usual out come for two stock cars?

Bullsh!t a 2nd to 4th shift would have killed any race. No way your comin back from that unless the kid in mommies car missed more gears than you. But thanks for sharing.

A ragged out 2V GT with no third gear.......with the driver mod of "spinning all the way through first"
VS This:
The numbers on this car are remarkably similar to Camaros we've tested in the past. With 323 horsepower available from the 3.6-liter V-6, we would expect some startling acceleration numbers. Unfortunately, our test car weighed in at 4105 pounds.
While it's a pig................the outcome of this race is highly suspect......sorry
