Oh no, it'll still bounce off the rev limiter if I don't lift off the throttle on the 2-3 shift. Fluid looks fine, etc. I've been told by some that it simply needs a shift kit and that bumping up the line pressure via tune isn't good enough. They say run stock pressure and install a shift kit instead. It has worked for some 4l60 guys on LS1tech. I'll get around to it eventually, just haven't had time to mess with it lately.

FWIW I never messed with pressure (was told it would kill the trans).. all of my mods were internal trans mods.

Basically, lmao! Amazing how far those Jeeps and Datsuns have come. I'm right there with you regarding a lack of races. I see tons of worthy opponets, but no takers. Even got turned down by a Blue Mach Tuesday...who buys an Azure Blue Mach 1 and then turns down a chance to flex a bit?

Glad to hear you got your tranny stuff kinda figured out man and I sooo wish I had my car to go out and play around but it'll be a good while before that happens.

Honestly drove it for 4 years and beat the hell out of it (including WOT into OD more often than I should have)... Had headers, CC306 cam and boltons when I traded it in. The trans was never an issue, even after it destroyed my rear end.

Thanks man! I think you could do pretty good from a roll. If you had the wheels strapped on, you could probably hold your own from a dig, but dammit that Jeep flat took off! As stout as they are from a dig, they only trap 101-103, so you should be able to handle one from a roll just fine. I know that once I got into 2nd it got ugly real quick for him..
