I know ive seen a lot of them run really good around here.
There was a guy with a bolt on auto 3v that would run 13.0 all day long on street tires.
He just had your basic bolt ons, pulleys, tune, intake, exhaust, I dont even think he had gears.

I agree, while it would be close, I still think the 4.6 3v would be the winner with same mods/ same driver.

And fwiw, Im not trying to pick an arguement or anything. That 'its a rice eater, but no gt' line kinda got to me, lol. Theres a lot more than a sohc fartcan honda that we can run with. Like.... 99-09 gt's. Theres also a LOT more that will bust our asses.... thats the way it goes.
Thats enough whoring up your thread with my **** youngun. Get back to that guy and get a clean run in, if he's stock (besides those Roush's, which Im curious how you know that), the outcome will likely be different.

I think that when it comes down to the argument, you have to pick which will be faster if money were no object.
The v8's have more power POTENTIAL, but how many people are going to take any engine to peak potential? Not many. But it still comes down to a question of money and mods.
