Default 2008 GT vs 2013 v6

Ran across a 2013 v6 at a light the other day and we went for it a bit. I missed his start signal so he got a massive lead off the start, but I was closing in pretty quickly. We never got to finish the race, but had we gotten a good start I would've taken him. Not some major blowout, but I estimate I would've had a few car lengths on him if it were all done right.

Yeah stock the 3.7 does pretty good, but not enough to hang with a 3v, much less a cai/tuned one.

I managed a 13.78 @ 102 completely stock, with 2.73s. They can do work with very few mods thrown at them.

Thats not too far off from what the average stock 3V will run to be honest.

Agreed, but most of the stock one's are 2.73 geared autos and they are low 14 second cars at the VERY best.

I thought it was interesting because it was the first time I'd ever seen a new v6 floor it. Its definitely a rice eater. Not a GT, but a rice eater haha

He had Roush exhaust on it and, while being a bit too high pitched for me, it sounded really good.

Yea, it was his first trip to the track in that car, and first time with a stickcar. The burgundy 3v was modded, cai/tune/exhaust. Caught him at the tree too, but I was really trying to hit the tree that time .

A few mods and that rice eater would have ate your lunch....
