First time out at the track!!
Me and 2 friends decided to go out to raceway park in Englishtown, NJ to see what our cars could run. This was my first time ever out on a track, but I think I did pretty well despite the heat of the night and the little bit of spin I was getting with my nitto's.
Car has auto trans -- Steeda CAI -- Steeda tune -- Lethal o/r x -- Roush mufflers -- 285 nitto nt555's
First run was right off the highway with maybe 20mins of cool time and was nervous as hell as this was my first time ever approaching the tree, but I managed to cut a 12.7 @ 107 with a 2.1 60ft. Second run was a little better and the car got to cool down for about an hour and I ran 12.5 @ 111mph with a 2.0 60ft. The last run of the night was my favorite, even though it wasnt the fastest, as I ran a 2011 camaro ss with drag radials and beat him!!! I ran a 12.6 @ 111.8mph with a 2.16 60ft. I was not ready for this last run at all as I approached the tree second and barely had time to prepare for the launch.
All in all I definitely had a TON of fun though and will definitely be going back more often. I would like to get a set of drag radial before my next time out though, and I am seriously considering going with a tune from Shaun @ AED to help drop my times a little lower.

I was there last night and seen your car. I happen to have video of 2 of your runs, made a quick upload to Youtube, I figured you would want to see your runs. Your car sounded good....what's up with that EVO, those cars usually run better then he did?

What's important is that your trap speeds were improving, which tells me you're getting better and better! Guessing that evo driver didn't launch very good. With that AWD it should launched much quicker and more violently than the Mustang.

Thanks guys !!! This was with a steeda cai, steeda tune, lethal o/r x and nitto nt555's which gave a little spin.
and yes this was my first time out lol. I do practice on my 0-60's sometimes on dead streets and stuff but never been to a track before. I am hoping a set of drag radials and a little more seat time will get me an 11.9-11.7 timeslip which is what many seem to be running with these mods and an auto.
and as for the evo, that first run was right off the highway with maybe 20mins of cool time which was also my slowest run, but he is still getting used to shifting with the car. Also he only has his 2-step set at 3500rpm which explains the soft launch. Normally those cars set the 2-step at 5500rpm and up which gives them that good launch
AND THANKS FOR THE VIDEO DAREDEVIL!!!! Pretty cool that we were at the same place at the same time lol. Such a small world. Hit me up next time you go, I'm only about 25 mins from there

I also just watched the video a few times to see if there was anything I can improve on from the starting line, and noticed the launch on my second run in the video (12.5 run which was the fastest of the night) was much harder and quicker than my first run of the night (12.7 slowest run). Guess thats where seat time comes into play, cause I did have more time to prepare for that launch too on the 12.5 run as I was at the tree first waiting for the camaro
