Request for flyby DENIED.
Was out when I noticed a loud LS1 Trans Am cross in front of me with two guys. Only mod I saw was lack of exhaust and a patina of dirt and elements. It sounded much meaner than my wimpy pillow-over-the-face muffled exhaust. After several lights I finally end up next to him and the passenger immediately locked eyes onto my badge and noted it to the driver. The inside had a generous layer of earth's finest seasonings as well and I wasn't sure how they could see out the windshield as it looked like someone had dumped a box of bugs and smeared them all over. I learned a long time ago never to judge a book by it's cover when it comes to cars so I gave the guy the benefit of the doubt. I long-pressed the pesky throttle nanny off and then spirited off in hopes to get a quick run but the guy didn't follow so I just drove out normally, no biggie. Little bit later he starts tailing me and gets a bit annoying. It continues and the guy is just plain being a douche at this point and really getting on my nerves as he's just glued to my bumper. He falls back a bit and I just knew this guy was going to try and fly by me. Sure enough I see his car lurch and I immediately nailed it. He got up to about a car length behind me as I got up to speed and then I proceeded to lay a bus length, two, then adios. The guy pulls off to a side street and the coyote howls at the moon the end.
Cliffs:
Run into an uncorked LS1 Trans Am
Try a quick run, guy no bites. No biggie.
Guy then later tails me a-la-douche
Attempted Flyby shut down
I caught a bug on my window
The end.

I'm calling bad driver or mechanical gremlins. It was pretty bad for an ls1. I've had others way closer and this one was the worst. It looked in pretty abysmal shape sadly. Shame too because I really love Pontiac LS1s.
