This would be the 3rd time I've raced a srt8, this time it was a challenger. I happened to see him as I was driving home on the high way and thought what the hell , lets see if he will play. We caught a stop light together and I revved a little , but he didn't look, so I juiced it a little when the light turned green. He made no attempt to run so I thought he didn't want to play. We approached another stop light, but he had a car in front of him. I noticed that he switched lanes and got behind me, looking in my mirror I see him nod and he revved his engine. I gave the thumbs up, the light turned green and we were off. he was close behind till I hit 2nd, then I just pulled him till I hit 108-110 (top of third) not joking it was 8 plus cars. Now 2 things that probably made the difference, one I had nittos ( but also a clutch at the end of its life, and open wheel) and 2 he had the windows up which makes me believe he had the a/c on. also the fact that he was behind me at the start probably made it seem worse than it actually was, But this is the 3rd srt that I have beat with the old sixxer kinda makes me proud!

Are you sure he just wasn't messing with you? You take the hit and he drives normal?

You either raced a V6 Challenger or it was an SRT8 that wasn't racing!!

Your sig shows you trapping 107 and a stock SRT8 traps higher than that and you put 8+ cars on it, something just doesn't add up!

Nice run. I think he hit it then let off. Are those numbers in your sig current? Because it seems like an SRT8 should be a good close match.

if his a/c was on it means nothing, as soon as you go wot the a/c cuts off. i agree with everyone else, he stayed in it for a second then let out.

nope he tried, otherwise I would have totally destroyed him. I just slowly walked away. Those are my best 1/4mile times, but that's open wheel, considering that I have trapped 87 in the 1/8 and 110 in the 1/4 (all with a 2.1 60') should tell ya that there's more there than a 13.2. in her. at any rate I have a spec 3+ on the way, and 8.8 4.10 to follow. I will post 1/4 mile times when these additions have been made.

lol I noticed your from Va., that's the state he was from! my best trap is 110, and it clearly said srt8 on back passenger side of car.

one never knows I guess, but he was trying for some point cause he blew by after I let off.

Stone was that car stock? that's what it looked like when I raced this car, just walked him.

Was it the 6.1 or 391?? The 6.1, I have seen them run 13.1 at best and 14.5 at worse lol

The 392's can trap 114mph all day long, even if they're only running mid 13's due to crappy tires...
