Got my turdstang into the 10s last night
After a long build process I was finally able to test out the new combo last night.
The car did well despite the fact that my converter was built way too damn tight so I could launch at all or build any boost off the line.
This was full weight, full interior, subs/ amps in trunk, etc.
Anyways, here was my best run.
I think it has low 10s in it no problem with a looser converter...maybe even 9s if I yank some weight and get it to launch right.
Its a 96 GT with a 4r70w and a multi disc converter
3.27 rear ( I think a 3.55 may have been a better choice honestly)
forged 4.6 2v
edelbrock victor jr manifold
ported PI heads
stock PI cams
67mm comp turbo on3 kit

I have some vids but they are pretty awful since its night time and not every eventful at all. It would have been nice to get a video about 3/4 track as it flys by.
haha yea, thats one good thing about the auto although my setup is not very optimal at all right now.
I could definitely use a looser converter and maybe even a 3.55 gear.....its 550+ rwhp now though just not very efficient lol.
The supercharger setup was tuned to its full potential.

Yea, its a street car so I doubt I will be back to the track anytime soon.
Im sure theres a ton of time left in it with weight removal, tuning, and of course a looser converter.
Its crazy how fast 132 mph trap speed feels going down the track.
