Sitting at the track...
Just got to track 30 minutes ago and sitting in the car waiting for some sprinkling to go away. Did 2 quick passes first and no cool down did a 12.14@118 then hit lapped and did a 12.09@114. Icing the intercooler next aiming for atleast a 120 trap. Car won't hook at all as its 53 degrees here so I'm spinning thru first with my slicks on.

Best time was a 11.67@119.8 witha 1.77 60'. Couldn't get traction to save my life. I also weighed the car when I got back, weight was 3340 without me. Seems like its light, things ice removed are gutted trunk, no back seat, straight axle and no front sway bar. Also don't have any tail pipes right now either. So figure 3475 with me in the car.
Can't wait until oct 7th for the good track day. By then ill have my stock mufflers switched for magnaflows so that might pick up 1mph. Humidity was at 78% as well so hopefully that's lower come 2 weeks.

That weigh slip just blows me away lol! I should weigh mine just for fun. Honestly dude, if our cars are similar in weight, I don't see how I could possibly beat you. I mean you should have at least 20-30 more hp than me (very likely more) and probably 80+ torque. It will be interesting for sure lol

i'll have about 80lbs more in the car when we run, between the backseat and the tail pipes. i still imagine your car would weigh a little less. i'll have my girlfriend with me as well so if you dont have a passenger the weights will be in your favor!

That weight gets me too. I was predicting 3700-3800lbs without driver. The drizzle and humidity wasn't helping, but looks like the DA and temps were pretty damn awesome. Get that cat-back on there along with a better prepped track and I think that car has a few tenths left in it.
MRT, you're still going to be a good run for Greddy. Don't let the HP numbers get the best of you. Greddy nailed it when he said that it seems like Cobras need 40-50 more HP to do what an LS1 does. No idea what all plays into that logic, but I've seen it too.

stone stock cobras weigh around 3660 from what i saw. so i was hoping for something under 3500 lbs, but am a ok with 3340 lol. i dunno what i'm more excited for, running at a better track on the 7th or racing mrt on the 29th! lol.
