Kinda what I was thinking.. That's a ridiculous trap for an 11 second pass.. It shoud be in the 10s with ease.. That run reminded me of Supras with 130+ traps running 11s and 12s, ha.

Man, if all it takes to run 9s with a 5.0 is a TVS and supporting mods..then that's gotta be one of the cheapest 9 second set-ups that's still street-able and/or reliable.

A lotta suspension goodies mixed in and it's doable.. There's been a couple.. Blower and supporting alone? No way..

Any idea what kind of power they're making with that blower (fairly safe limits)?

Oh yea, no doubt about the suspension. I figured all poly bushings, control arms, shocks/struts, all that good stuff. Just trying to grasp a street car running 9s and driving back home, lol. Not something you see everyday.

I think safe tunes on stock blocks are pushing around high 500s, almost 600.. Brenspeed has a package that makes 570+ rwhp with just an ehxaust added, and safe for daily.

Ha, yeah I know it's crazy to even think. I think it's starting to get there though. I remember years ago when it was crazy to see street cars run 12s, and 300 wheel was fast, ha. Times change, even I feel behind the power curve of todays street cars :/...

Gotcha, sounds like they're making pretty big power, fairly safely.

Man that's the damn truth. Makes you wonder what the next 10-15 years are going to bring, or even the next 5 years. It's getting harder and harder to keep up!!!

Well either all muscle cars will be gone and everything will be electric and boring.. or street cars will be roaming around with 1000+ HP and coming off the showroom with 600+... Or C we'll all have flying machines, ha.

I'm thinking electric is the future, but it'll be a minute before that goes down on a mass produced level. In the next few years, I think we're going to see some serious factory power (like we aren't already) before it is once again a thing of the past. I hope I'm wrong!!

He said when he first dyno tuned without the big jlt he was at 560 at wheels. He was on the factory wheels with drag radials. How ever it is a manual so maybe that's why the trap is so high? The Shelby's trap 120's correct?
