Redboss you are correct, I love competing. I mostly compete with myself....I want to improve my skills as a driver. Making the car faster is simple, a new torque convertor would put me right into the 11.90 class. But my RT skills with a protree light are not at that level. I cut .57-.68 lights all this weekend. The .68 knocked me out on Saturday night of my 12.90 class. In 11.90 if your not cutting low .50's your losing. In time I will make my car faster no doubt, but for now I'm very happy to race where I am.

I really love the phat tire look. The 18's I use for DD just look boring now. LOL I had another guy comment on how good they look said I should get some matching front wheels.!

I got the refund............Thanks Dan.

I took my prize winnings and applied them to a DSS driveshaft. One piece with a cv joint and no vibration issues because of the built in cv joint. Gofast in the mail.....Woohoo!! Black Friday sales FTW.

Took the prize money and purchased a bunch of new swag for the car since we had so many Black Friday deals out there. Ordered a DSS driveshaft, SSS axlebacks and couple of small items. Woohoo, gofast in the mail.

Congrats on the win.

You can slow you car down by launching in 2nd gear. My stock '07 is slowed by .40. A bit trickey shifting the stock shifter lol. I wait to above 4500 rpm and keep my palm on the console and push the bottom of the shifter with my thumb. Once I make the shift into D the computer controls all shifting inclucing the 2-3. Factory shifter is not a ratchet and will go into neutral durning racing. Adding each 100lbs of weight slows another .10. Tuners don't like to slow a car down due to the possible "bad" press. Bracket racing is way different that a PB.

I take that .500 is a perfect tree. Do you deep stage and what RPM are you launching from. Smaller diameter tires will help reaction. Higher launch RPM will make the car launch quicker droping RT. Increasing rear tire pressure (as long as you can still hook) will have the same effect dropping RT.

Nice to see some else winning brackets in a newer mustang.
