LS1 vs 427 Vs 150 shot 01 Cobra

I was referring to Greddy actually, but your car is actually just as capable of launching hard, just ten times more likely to break the rear and even harder to actually control! I'd still trade for a manual in a heartbeat.
Without DRs my car is useless under 40 mph. That low roll with the Cobra in the go-pro vid pretty much proves that, lol.

since all three of you are going to be running the laughing gas now, Does that mean I get to get a few races in with you guys?
btw nice races stone. Your car always seems to impress me compared to all the other h/c/i ls1's around here. keep up the good work.

Damn right you can join in! I've been wanting to see your GT in action for awhile now.

My first Camaro was a built small block. It made damn near 500 rwhp and ran 10's at the track... but when I gave that motor some juice (150 shot) I could not believe how well that engine responded. Get some Juice and get IT NOW!!!!

I actually did pick up that dry kit from Greddy. Looks like I'm going to need to add a fuel solenoid and make it a wet kit though. Either that or buy bigger injectors. I'm hoping a 75 will drop the car down to a 10.99!

I know I am late here but let me still chime in.
I am the owner of the 01 cobra and yes, it is "lazy" for a 150 shot. At the time of this video I made 384/430, my guess is about the same hp the camaro makes. When the shop who built my car tuned it for whatever reason they only sprayed it at 850-900 instead of 1000.
I took my car to another shop and threw it on the dyno and sprayed it at 1000. It made 430/470. At the time of these races I was using a torch to heat my bottle, it would cool off to fast and as you can tell I started losing heat towards the end of the last run. You can ask the OP, I had to stop on the highway on our way back to heat my bottle up again. Pain in the ***, I have since bought a real deal bottle heater, zex blows.
The car needs a little more aggressive tune.
And not that it is a big deal but I did not jump any of those runs, I took off on the 3rd honk like you're supposed to.
As far as the track numbers, I ran those using a torch spraying around 850. I have only run my car 3 times on nitrous and managed some ****ty 60ft times, 1.994 was my best. With a better tune and some more seat time high 11's are possible.
